Dr. DeQuan Smith-Murry, Assistant Dean, OILAS
Welcome to the Office of Inclusive Learning & Accessibility Services (OILAS) at Morehouse School of Medicine! We are glad you are here and look forward to assisting you. Our purpose is to lead in removing physical, educational, and other barriers while creating an inclusive and diverse environment. We collaborate with MSM learners, faculty, staff, and the community to ensure all students have seamless and equal access to classroom environments, events, and experiences.
Our services operate under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to level the playing field for students with disabilities. Our primary objective is to promote a culture of equal access by removing educational barriers and maintaining a quality environment at MSM. If MSM learners encounter academic, physical, technological, or other barriers on campus, the Access Team will collaborate with them to find creative solutions and reasonable accommodations both inside and outside the classroom.
We are committed to providing accommodations, support, and resources to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students with disabilities. We hope you find connecting with the Office of Accessibility Services a straightforward process. Whether you need assistance with academic or clinical adjustments, or other services, our team is here to help you succeed and thrive during your time at 黑洞社区 of Medicine.
